This was recorded yesterday, Live @ Amaranth House’s garage. Inspired by VU’s “White Light / White Heat”, Japanese punk bands, no-fi, no wave, Butthole Surfers, this is an “imaginary demo”, meaning this could be the first Sauer Adler release (instead of the folky “Revelation” album which we unleashed back in 2013). But you can’t change history! So, this is the zero point again, which is important for any musician, who doesn’t want ego to take over. Directly before recording this monster to 4 track, we listened to Guru Guru’s “UFO” album.
After Aumega Sessions, we had some leftover jams that we edited and released as “Emptorus Reperitus”, a faux latin title, which is a tribute to Blue Cheer. We also had some unfinished A.J. Kaufmann material, for songs he wrote as a kid, and finished in 2018, motivated by tapes he found during his move from one apartment to another. It’s called “Telegraph Hill Conservation Area”. We hope you enjoy the albums. We also had a nice radio session for the local Radio Afera station – in a no-bass line-up, completed in Poznan just a day before entering the radio studio. So it was really a loose poetic jam broadcasted live. More news on that in a seperate post….
Here are the albums:
2 nowe płyty z jednego jamu – ta druga bardziej marmoladowa.
No cóż – inne czasy. Mam nadzieję, że nasz producent przynajmniej w geście podróży lysergicznych dorównuje RUKowi. W końcu to też ja. I Ty, drogi słuchaczu. Kosmische on…
This here release is an avant-garde mixtape completed from various sources this year. Sometimes the sources got lost and it is hard to tell the dates and places and musicians and found tapes… it’s a mix of sound, a graffiti of noise that should cover every city’s walls. When walls weren’t machines, here’s the 2nd installation of anarcho kraut!
With 2 brand new recordings (“Android of Mu” + “Dim Dum”) we were hoping to start working on a brand new album. But while working, we realized, we are merely repeating old experiments, which were hidden well in our cupboard. So, we decided to dust off some “old” recordings and quickly issue a compilation album of unheard ideas, plus the 2 brand new tracks mentioned before. This is good news, but even better news is, that on October 23 we are entering a recording studio to cut the “Anarchokraut in Posen Stadt” album proper! Keep your fingers crossed! Punk on, stay kosmische.
After celebrating Rozbrat’s 23rd birthday – and a nostalgic trip – we decided to improvise a bit on a Sunday morning. We used 4 tracks only (well, okay, 5th track for the dub drum effect) – and had fun – aber es ist doch Kunst! Enjoy!
