“Fruits of Weird Dawn” – NEW ALBUM!

Our latest album is literally fruits of weird dawn, as it was recorded during psychedelic Polish mornings in the peaceful, creative Via Kosmische surroundings. We made green tea, smoked some stuff, and jammed to get some fruits – and then gathered the (rather short and no-wavy, noisy) jams onto one LP. We hope you enjoy the tracks! Psychedelic noise rock from Alpha Persei sails on…

2 new albums.

After Aumega Sessions, we had some leftover jams that we edited and released as “Emptorus Reperitus”, a faux latin title, which is a tribute to Blue Cheer. We also had some unfinished A.J. Kaufmann material, for songs he wrote as a kid, and finished in 2018, motivated by tapes he found during his move from one apartment to another. It’s called “Telegraph Hill Conservation Area”. We hope you enjoy the albums. We also had a nice radio session for the local Radio Afera station – in a no-bass line-up, completed in Poznan just a day before entering the radio studio. So it was really a loose poetic jam broadcasted live. More news on that in a seperate post….
Here are the albums:

“Moving, Riding, Grooving” (2017)

With a title that best describes our way through space and time (on Earth, Earthly time 2.09.2017, 19:18 – Persean time, 23-40-3797, 9-21) and music which fuses our old and new inspirations, here’s a new album of ours. A.J. Kaufmann is now jamming with everyone and anyone he can possibly jam with in Poznan, Poland, preparing to record a new album next year, and Luna Lenina got lost with her electronics somewhere behind the Schwarzwald moon, making love to the dawn birds, learning bass. There will be a new album, and the saga will continue into 2018 earth time for sure – but no new material is currently at hand. We are void, we are ready to receive. Transmission cuts here, and katzenmusik begins.

“Sauer Adler” releases now!

With a decision to keep things raw and keep first takes only, the album has been completed earlier than expected. We hope you enjoy our underground blast of brutalist rock/psychedelic noise rock. Here’s “Sauer Adler”, and now off to well-deserved long holiday. Until next time!

“Polish Tribal Music” update…

coverAfter successful writing/recording sessions October 21-24 2016, half of the album is now ready, and so is the cover, which you can see attached to this post. “Polish Tribal Music” will contain the track “Savages”, shared previously on youtube, and also “Barbaric Obelisks”, which I will upload to youtube soon. Four more tracks: “Luzifer in Kanaan”, “Champagne Desert”, “Space Swords and Highways”, and “Wake Up Girl” complete the image of “side B” of the future album. I’m about to take a little break, and return to the second (“side A”) half of the LP later this year, so that it will be ready for an early 2017 release. I’m basically listening to two albums right now: Hawkwind’s “Doremi Fasol Latido”, and Venom’s “Welcome to Hell”. So, I further radicalized the “brutalist rock” sound of Sauer Adler, and it will hover somewhere between those two albums mentioned, updated to 2017, arrogant and uncompromising, with a bit of retro-Kraftwerkian electro-punk. I also dig a lot of noise, no-wave and early Sonic Youth lately, so that will definitely show in the new material too, especially in lead guitars and bass solos. Stay tuned for more info as the work continues!

New album in the works…

adamclustersA new The Sauer Adler album, “Polish Tribal Music” is in its writing stages right now… we hope to share a new track by the end of the year. In the meantime, why not check out the A.J. Kaufmann solo catalogue @ http://ajkaufmann.bandcamp.com. We suggest starting with “Stoned Gypsy Wanderer” (2014) or “Kaufi” (2015), and moving from there into various albums, demos and ideas of the Sauer Adler main man. Hope you enjoy the sound, the vision, the music!
